Frequently asked questions

Feather, teardrop or rectangle — what's the difference?

Shape, and how they behave in wind. A feather flag is tall and narrow with a curved top; it flutters, which catches the eye and reads as movement. A teardrop is tensioned all the way round its curve so it stays taut and legible even in a breeze — the better choice if the text has to be readable. A rectangle gives the most usable print area, and an angled banner sits between the two.

Are the pole and base included?

They're quoted alongside the graphic rather than assumed, because a lot of customers already have hardware from a previous event. Tell us whether you need the pole, and which base — a ground spike for grass, a cross base for a foyer, a water-fillable base for outdoors on hard standing.

Is the print visible from both sides?

Single-sided printing shows through in mirror image on the reverse, which is fine for a logo and poor for text. If people will approach from both directions, order double-sided: it's two panels with a blockout layer between them, so each face reads correctly.

Will it survive outdoors?

For a season of ordinary weather, yes. Take them down in a real storm — the failure point is the pole, not the fabric, and a snapped pole usually tears the sleeve on its way. Colours will fade gradually in direct Indian sun; a year is a fair expectation for a flag flown daily.

Can the fabric be washed?

Yes, cold hand wash and line dry. Don't machine wash, don't tumble dry, don't iron the printed face directly. Creases from packing drop out within an hour or two of hanging.

How fast is delivery?

Flag graphics are typically ready in 4–6 working days after artwork approval; add a day or two if hardware is coming with them. Prices exclude 18% GST.
