Printcept India ("Printcept", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship based in Red Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the "Data Fiduciary" for your personal data — the ones responsible for it — and you are the "Data Principal" — the person it belongs to. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can control it.
We don’t use your data for anything beyond what’s listed here without asking you first.
Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is active, and for up to 8 years afterward to meet Indian tax and GST record-keeping rules. Artwork files are kept only as long as reasonably needed for reprints or support, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see Section 6 — though we may need to keep what the law requires us to.
We never sell or rent your data. A few trusted services help us run the business, and each only gets what it needs to do its job:
One thing worth knowing: our database (Supabase) runs on servers in Tokyo, Japan, not India. This is allowed under the DPDP Act’s cross-border transfer rules, and your data still only goes to the services listed above, for the purposes listed above — nowhere else.
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you’re okay with Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. If you say no, neither loads, and no tracking cookies are set. You can change your mind anytime by clearing this site’s data in your browser and reloading — the banner will reappear.
We keep a simple record of that choice (a random ID, your decision, and which page — never your name or IP address) so we can show we asked for consent if a regulator ever wants proof.
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
To use any of these, fill out our Data Rights Request form, or email printceptindia@gmail.com with your registered name and phone number. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Your data is stored on Supabase with encrypted connections and access-controlled database rules, and sign-in is handled through Google Authentication or a phone-based login — we don’t run our own separate password system. Payments are tokenized through Razorpay and never touch our servers. If a data breach ever puts your information at risk, we’ll notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
If you have a complaint about how your personal data has been processed, use our Data Rights Request form or contact our Grievance Officer directly:
We will acknowledge and resolve grievances within 30 days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Printcept is meant for users 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from children, and we don’t show them targeted ads or track them. If you’re a parent and think your child has given us their data, email us and we’ll delete it.
Our site sometimes links out to other websites. We’re not responsible for how they handle your data, so it’s worth checking their own privacy policy separately.
If we update this policy, we’ll post the change here with a new "Last updated" date at the top.
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to printceptindia@gmail.com. This policy is governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
